Wx Or Not Contributors Present Research

The 46th Annual Student Research Conference was held this past weekend at Western Kentucky University. This conference gives both graduate and undergraduate students a chance to present their ongoing research projects. Three Wx Or Not contributors presented meteorological and climatological research at the conference.

Pierce Larkin presented “Identifying and Characterizing Initial Trends with in Agriculturally Produced Chemicals That Result in Atmospheric Aerosols”.

Jacob Wilkins presented “Impacts of Land Between the Lakes on Local Precipitation Climatology”.

Tori Hampton presented a poster about “A Meteorological Perspective of the Hazardous Outcomes During Two Consecutive February-March 2015 Winter Storms Across Kentucky”. Tori also won first place honors at her poster session, so congratulations to her!

It should also be noted that Isaac Bowers and Alex Sizemore also presented on behalf of WKU Meteorology. Alex also received first place honors at his oral paper presentation.
