Today 3/4 – Cloudy – High 46/Tonight – Cloudy – Low 36
Good Morning, Bowling Green! Today will be the last day of the cooler weather as a warm-up is on the way just in time for the weekend (and Spring Break)! Clouds will stick around for today but temperatures will be a little warmer than yesterday with highs in the upper 40s.
I have been starting to see the trees blooming and daffodils popping up – soon we will have the warm weather to make it feel even more like spring. And for all you WKU students – rest easy knowing your Spring Break will actually be warm this year.
Upper-level ridging will be at play for the next few days along with southerly flow pulling warmer air into the region. Broad high pressure will eventually move eastward and will give us more sunshine later in the weekend.
Saturday 3/5 – Partly sunny – High 60/ Saturday Night – Becoming clear – Low 35
We’ll see a few lingering clouds on Saturday due to a shortwave trough moving off to the east, but it’s going to be a beautiful day as mid-level ridging sets up over the area.
A low pressure system to the north will create more southerly winds during the day and highs will make it to around 60◦. Perfect!
Sunday 3/6 – Sunny – High 60/Sunday Night – Cloudy – Low 42
The mid-level ridge will almost be centered over Kentucky and the associated surface high pressure will keep skies sunny and temperatures mild for Sunday.
Expect a pleasant day with winds becoming more southerly as high pressure slides east throughout the day. Monday and Tuesday will be AMAZING with temperatures warming up to around 70◦. I give this weather a 10/10.
Have a great day and continue to follow @WxOrNotBG for more updates!
