Today 1/16 – Cloudy – High 38/Tonight – Mostly cloudy – Low 25
Good morning, Bowling Green! The cold air is moving in thanks to the cold front that passed through last night. High pressure will start to settle in over the region which will continue to pull in the cold, arctic air and eventually bring clear skies.
Today will be the beginning of a cold snap that could bring us down into the single digits over the next couple days. Keep those pets warm!
Sunday 1/17 – Mostly cloudy – High 35/ Sunday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 10
There is a slight chance of snow flurries Sunday as a second cold front moves into the region. This will keep skies mostly cloudy and bring in even colder air.
Temperatures will continue to drop and we’ll see very cold temperatures Sunday night. Clouds will start to decrease overnight giving us plenty of sunshine for Monday!
Monday 1/18 – Sunny & very cold – High 24/Monday Night – Clear – Low 10
For those of you who will be off from school or work Monday, you might just want to stay inside with the heat cranked up. Monday will be the coldest day during this cold snap and the arctic air mass will start receding on Tuesday. But hey, at least we’re not up in Minnesota where they are hitting a whopping 1°, right?
It’s looking like we may see another chance for snow mid-week. Continue to check back later for more information about these “potential” snow chances.
Have a great weekend and stay warm! Thanks for reading and continue to follow @WxOrNotBG for more updates.
