Divergence aloft will create lift across the region. This will be adequate forcing to continue the showers in the region from the west. These showers should be relatively light and not everyone will receive rainfall. Thick clouds will help keep temperatures a little on the chilly side. Highs will only be around 58° on this gross Monday.
Tonight, isolated showers will continue to across the region. Lows will be around 51°.
Tuesday 11/17 – Isolated Showers – High 71° / Tue Night – Isolated Showers – Low 61°
Tuesday, a strong longwave trough will continue to get closer to the region. Low level winds will increase out of the south. Moisture and warm temperatures will advect out of the south. This will contribute to highs in the lower 70s. Winds at the surface will be between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph possible. Isolated showers will continue.
Isolated showers will continue in the overnight hours. Lows will be around 61°.
Wednesday 11/18 – Scattered Showers – High 65° / Wed Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 45°
The longwave trough will begin to enter the region on Wednesday. The cold front associated with an area of low pressure to the north will approach the region.
This will bring more widespread showers and perhaps some thunder to the region. Highs will be in the mid 60s under thick cloud cover.
Winds will once again be out of the south around 15-25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph possible.
Partly cloudy skies will move into the region as the cold front departs to the east. Lows will drop into the mid 40s.
