Today 9/28 – Partly Cloudy – High 84° / Tonight – Scattered Showers – Low 69°
A fairly nice day is on tap to begin the workweek today. Low pressure well to the south of us will spread moisture and clouds across the region throughout the day. Partly cloudy skies should accompany most of the day with a very small chance of an isolated shower throughout the day. Highs will be around 84°.
More scattered showers will develop tonight as more moisture overspreads the region from the south. Lows will be around 69°.
Tuesday 9/29 – Scattered Showers; Isolated Storms – High 75° / Tue Night – Scattered Showers – Low 65°
On Tuesday, this moisture will interact with a cold front making its way across the United States. The cold front will enhance lift across the region, leading to more widespread showers on Tuesday. A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible, however no severe weather is anticipated at this time. Highs will be around 75°.
The cold front will continue to move across the region during the overnight hours on Tuesday. Scattered showers should continue through much of the night as well. Lows will be around 65°. Total precipitation totals are trending upward, thus I expect about 1-2″ of rain to fall throughout the day on Tuesday.
Wednesday 9/30 – Isolated Showers; Cooler – High 69° / Wed Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 54°
The cold front will be east of the region on Wednesday. This will leave us with some left over isolated showers during the morning hours. I think we’ll stay cloudy for most of the day, with some gradual clearing taking place in the evening hours. Highs will take a tumble into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Better not be complaining about that forecast.
Wednesday night will bring partly cloudy skies to the region with a low around 54°.
