Today 9/18 – Sunny – High 89/Tonight – Mostly clear – Low 64
Good morning, Bowling Green! The weather has been pretty great this week but today might feel a little hot and humid as southerly winds ramp up throughout the day. Relief from this heat is coming soon! A cold front currently in the Midwest is making its way toward the area and will bring more 70-degree temperatures.
Tonight will be a comfortable 64 degrees but much cooler air is on the way increasing our rain chances for Saturday.
Saturday 9/19 – Sunny; scat’d afternoon storms – High 84/Saturday Night – Cloudy; chance of scat’d storms – Low 60
Temperatures will make it to the mid-80s before the cold front moves in around lunchtime. The front will set off a few isolated showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. NAM 4km simulated radar shows showers starting to enter Kentucky during the morning hours.
Saturday night will remain cloudy once the rain has moved out and temperatures will cool to around 60 degrees. Clouds should start to clear out Sunday morning making for a beautiful end to the weekend!
Sunday 9/20 – Partly sunny – High 75/Sunday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 55
If there was such thing as perfect weather, Sunday would definitely fit that description. Clouds will start to move out in the morning hours making way for plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will only warm to around 75 degrees and it will feel very much like fall.
Sunday night will be a bit chilly with low temperatures in the mid-50s. Good news – this perfect weather will be continued into Monday!
