A very photogenic tornado formed in southwestern Iowa on Sunday afternoon and evening. The tornado formed in the Cromwell and Nevinville, IA areas. Damage assessments will likely take place today to determine the path length, as well as strength of the tornado. The locals took to Twitter to post their pictures of the tornado.

As one meteorologist from Indiana pointed out, the discrete supercell that dropped the tornadoes also looked very photogenic from space.
