Howdy, Bowling Green! I hope the second half of your work week is going great! I wish I had better news for your forecast, but unfortunately I don’t. Highs will be in the lower 90’s under partly sunny skies and dewpoints will be in the 70’s. So, basically, the theme here is HOT and HUMID!

Instability in the atmosphere will cause scattered thunderstorms to develop in the afternoon and evening hours, so bring the umbrella…again. Lows for the evening will be in the low 70’s under mostly cloudy conditions. Unfortunately, the chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms will last into the night and carry over into Friday. Oh buddy, I hope your umbrella is ready for the challenge!

Friday – Mostly Cloudy; Showers & Thunderstorms – High 87˚ / Tonight – Showers & Thunderstorms – Low 73˚

More showers and thunderstorms will make an appearance in our region Friday and Saturday morning as the “leftovers” of Tropical Storm Bill head our way. We should get a slight “break” from the heat with highs in the upper 80’s under mostly cloudy skies, and dewpoints about the same as previous days.

For the evening, lows will be in the low 70’s under mostly cloudy skies with those pesky rain chances continuing to stick around. I definitely suggest keeping that umbrella close by because you wouldn’t want to be caught in the rain without one!

Saturday– Mostly Cloudy; Showers & Storms – High 86˚ / Saturday Night – Dec Showers & Storms – Low 75˚

Saturday looks to be pretty much the same as Friday; Highs in the mid-to-upper 80’s and increased rain showers and thunderstorms. Saturday evening, however, looks to be drying up with a decreased chance of rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be pretty normal with lows in the mid 70’s under mostly cloudy skies. Definitely have the umbrella handy for both the daytime and nighttime, but hopefully you won’t have to bring it out during the evening hours quite as much!
