A low pressure system well to the north of Bowling Green, KY has draped a cold front to the northwest of the region. We’ll see rounds of scattered showers and thunderstorms form out ahead of the front through much of the day. Severe weather is not anticipated. High temps will top out around 81°.
Scattered showers will remain possible throughout the rest of the night. Lows will drop to a mild 64°.
Tuesday 5/19 – Gradual Clearing – High 77° / Tue Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 53°
The cold front will move through the region on Tuesday morning. Thus, a stray isolated shower or two will be possible during this time. More fair conditions are expected after the front moves through. Cloudy skies should diminish to allow rays of sun to gradually take over the skies. Temperature values will climb to the upper 70s.
Partly cloudy skies will remain in the region for the overnight hours. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s.
Wednesday 5/20 – Partly Sunny – High 72° / Wed Night – Isolated Showers – Low 56°
Wednesday will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. All in all some nice weather is in store for Wednesday. However, clouds may increase through the late afternoon hours as a disturbance takes shape to the west of the region. Highs will be in the low 70s.
Wednesday night that disturbance will move into the region. As of now, it looks like a few showers and perhaps some thunderstorms will be possible. Lows will be in the mid 50s.
