Heavy Snow Across Rocky Mountains

As much as 4 feet of snow may fall across the Rocky Mountains through early next week. This is thanks to a large cutoff low parked over the western U.S.

 

Thankfully the Rockies are away for the next 6 games, because their field is covered in the white stuff.

The Weather Channel has a snow map up showing two feet of snow across many areas through Sunday.

While two feet of snow is a good bet for a lot of areas, models show as little as a couple inches of snow to over 4 feet of snow. This could do wonders for the winter snow pack and reservoirs in the west.
