Worth celebrating.

Overnight, the combination of clear skies and light winds could create patchy fog.

Tue 1/20 – Partly Sunny; Iso’d PM Showers – High 57˚ / Tue Night – Iso’d Rain Chance – Low 35˚

Outside of patchy fog throughout the early morning hours, we look to have another fantastic day on tap, for the most part.  Cloud coverage will be more plentiful through the second day of the work week, as moisture streaming into the region as a low pressure system tracks north of the area.

This could result in a few light, stray rain showers Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night.  The latest 4km NAM model hints at the possibility of isolated areas of the wet stuff at 4pm Tuesday afternoon:

If you’re a fan of the warm weather, get out and enjoy it on Tuesday.  There… you’ve been warned.

Wed – Iso’d Rain/Snow Chance – High 48˚ / Wed Night – Cloudy – Low 30˚

Our hump day should start off with isolated rain/snow chances joining light winds out of the west.  Cloud coverage should remain in place, as a weak disturbance works over south central Kentucky.  Wind speeds will pick up to 10-20 mph out of the northwest, resulting in temperatures being held to the mid – upper 40s during the afternoon.  A few isolated rain showers will stick around through the longevity of the day.  Back to dreary we go…

EASY, TINA!

Weak lobes of energy passing over the area look to keep plenty of cloud coverage around until the last day of the work week.  Temperatures will be suppressed to the low – mid 40s, creating what our twitter weather colleges @NashSevereWx refer to as a “Blerg”… aka dreary conditions.

Fitting if you ask me.

That will wrap up the afternoon update, folks.  As always, catch the latest real-time weather info @WxOrNotBG & @WarrenCountyWx on Twitter.  Have a great rest of your Monday.
