Severe Weather Impacts Gulf Coast

It looks like the predominate threat is tornadoes that will form due to low level moisture and wind shear. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a “slight” risk of severe weather. Again, isolated tornadoes are the primary threat.

As of now, no severe weather watches have been issued, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some were issued later this afternoon and into the evening.
