Today will be the last day of warmer weather for quite a while so be sure to get out and enjoy it. A cold front will be moving into the region the evening which will give us a chance of rain during the late afternoon and early evening hours. Highs will top out around 65°. Below is a depiction of the frontal location at 5 PM. Cold air should begin spilling into the region around then.

The front will likely move through the region during the evening hours, which means rain will likely accompany a majority of the evening, as well as in the overnight hours, especially before midnight. High pressure, and cold air will build in behind the cold front which will help those temperatures fall into the mid 30s for lows.

Wednesday 11/12 – Partly Cloudy – High 45° / Wed Night – Mostly Cloudy – Low 29°

High pressure will continue to move into the region which will push more cold air to Bowling Green. The clouds should begin to part during the afternoon hours, which will allow for a few peeks of sunshine throughout the day. However, this won’t help temperatures too much as we’ll likely only warm in the the mid 40s for afternoon highs. You can say goodbye to those warm temperatures.

The clouds look like they may come back around during the overnight hours as the temperature rapidly cools in a somewhat moist environment. Still, no precipitation is expected. Lows will dip into the upper 20s across the region. Winds out of the north will be fairly light, but will make temperatures feel more like they’re in the low 20s to teens.

Thursday 11/13 – Partly Cloudy – High 37° / Thur Night – Mostly Clear – Low 23°

Drier air will begin to work back into the region as high pressure continues to dominated the central part of the United States. Thus, you can expect morning clouds to burn off to partly cloudy skies during the afternoon hours. Highs will struggle to reach the 40° mark across the area.

The trend of decreasing clouds will continue into the overnight hours on Thursday. This will lead to mostly clear skies overnight. This will allow low temperatures to plummet into the low to mid 20s across the area.
