The 6 – 10 day outlook will feature a higher probability of drier than normal conditions and near normal temperatures.
Likewise, the one month outlook will keep temperatures and precipitation near average. (Keep in mind it only takes one heavy thunderstorm to throw precipitation numbers on the wet side). But overall the heaviest precipitation over the next several weeks will remain toward the Gulf Coast and and central Plains.
Currently, Warren County remains relatively wet. Portions of southern Logan County extending into much of western Kentucky are experiencing abnormally dry conditions.
The 30 day precipitation totals are roughly 150% – 175% to normal.
