Two nights ago in Huron, South Dakota the temperature jumped from 73 degrees to 91 degrees in less than an hour. This rare phenomenon is known as a Heat Burst. As the temperature spiked, the relative humidity dropped to around 25% and wind gusts reached near 50 mph.
