This Massachusetts hailstorm is simply awesome. In fact, this must be the Summer for epic hailstorms across the nation. We saw one hailstorm impact western Indiana earlier.Today, we saw what a Massachusetts hailstorm looks like. Hailstorms are pretty rare in the northeastern states. According to SPC climatology, severe hail is not likely anywhere across the nation this time of year. The area most likely to see hail is Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado.
Social media outlets are the place to go during severe weather. However, you have to be careful for what you look at. Some posts are not correct, which can lead to trouble. The Massachusetts hailstorm was so crazy, meteorologists and weather enthusiasts alike took to Twitter to post their reports and pictures of hail. Check it out below, and yes all posts are credible!
