Jeff Ruby’s in Covington is…sinking?

Jeff Ruby’s, a water-friendly restaurant located in Covington, KY has had it’s fair share of blunders over the years, however, the most recent incident resulted in a hole in its hull.  This has led to the now partially-infamous eatery to sink…

The following is a snippet from an article posted by Kentucky Sports Radio’s Tyler Thompson:

The restaurant has a troubled history; in March 2011, it broke free from its dock and drifted downriver with several diners onboard, and this past February, it was hit by a chunk of ice and broke free from its landing again.

The restaurant was taken to a marina in Taylorsport for repair, and apparently, a tow boat hit it few weeks ago, puncturing the hull to cause the sinking you see above. Fortunately, Ruby had already scrapped plans for this particular building, announcing in July that he plans to reopen the Waterfront restaurant in Covington, this time on land.
