Early Morning Severe Weather

*Update: Portions of the Severe Thunderstorm Watch have been updated to a Tornado Watch*

Folks in the Midwest are getting a wake-up call today as supercell thunderstorms are currently in progress across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa this morning.  Here is a look at the current radar, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch (shaded in blue) is currently in effect until noon CST.

These storms will be drifting east today, and storms will continue to be a concern for areas in Missouri, Iowa and Illinois that are in a moderate risk for severe weather.
