Severe weather impacted a large part of the central plains yesterday, especially northern Kansas and southern Nebraska. Supercells congealed into a line over western Kansas and the National Weather Service office in Goodland, Kansas took a direct hit. As storms rolled over their office they reported wind gusts of 60mph and baseball sized hail right in their own backyard.
