Nuff’ said…
Thu – Sunny – High 85˚ / Thu Night – Scat’d Storms – Low 65˚
Another day of sunny, hot conditions. Our pattern will finally shift to a more active pattern Thursday night into the weekend. A cold front will progress east into the area late Thursday night, eventually stalling out across our area.
A series of disturbances will ride along this boundary Friday – Sunday, combining with available moisture to provide us with likely chances of the wet stuff. Widespread rain & storms are expected, with severe weather looking unlikely at this time.
The latest QPF output thinks we could see rainfall values of 2+” by Sunday morning. The “bullseye” for heavy rainfall looks to stretch right through middle Tennessee & central Kentucky.
That’s all I’ve got for now. Want more frequent weather information? Have questions or comments? Feel free to get in touch with me @WxOrNotBG on twitter. Have a great afternoon, and stay cool. Thanks for reading.
