Real-time Observation for Bowling Green, Ky:
Real-time Regional Radars:
———————————————————————————————————————————————————–
Today 4/30 – Iso’d AM Showers; Partly Cloudy; Cooler; Breezy – High 69˚ / Tonight – Cloudy – Low 48˚
6am 55˚ – 9am 61˚ – 12pm 67˚ – 3pm 69˚ – 6pm 68˚ – 9pm 59˚
A cold front has pressed east of the area. Conditions should be much cooler & drier today with the exception of a few isolated showers this morning. Although unlikely, a stray shower or two also can’t be ruled out this afternoon during peak heating. Otherwise, we’ll be partly cloudy. Check out the image below for a visual of what’s taking place:
Westerly winds will howl at 10-15mph, which will help limit afternoon highs to the mid – upper 60s. Tonight, dry air will continue to filter in, as the upper low scoots off to our north.
The following GFS model loops every 6 hours from 1pm this afternoon – 7am Thursday morning. This should give you a better idea of how this system may behave:
Thu – Partly Sunny; Breezy – High 62˚ / Thu Night – Cloudy – Low 43˚
The pesky upper system that’s annoyed us over the past few days will finally exit to our northeast. A mix of sun & clouds will litter the sky, however, westerly winds of 10-20mph will limit temps to around 60 during the afternoon…
Chill out, bruh… at least its not raining.
Fri – Partly Sunny; Iso’d Showers & Storms – High 61˚ / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 47˚
Upper trough will dig into the eastern U.S. A few stray showers/storms will be possible during the afternoon. Otherwise, expect tolerable, mild conditions.
