April 16, 1998 Hailstorm and Tornado

On this day, 16 years ago, a historic storm struck Bowling Green and surrounding areas. A strong supercell thunderstorm tracked across the counties of Logan, Warren, Allen, Barren, Metcalfe, and Adair in south central Kentucky. The supercell produced very large hail as well as 3 tornadoes.
