Overnight, clear skies and calm winds will coincide to provide prime conditions for a hard freeze.  If you have any sensitive vegetation outside, be sure to bring the in before nightfall.

Wed – Sunny – High 58˚ / Wed Night – Clear – Low 36˚

High pressure will be in complete control, allowing for rays of sunshine to paint the sky.  This is good news, as it will combine with southerly winds, permitting a rebound in our temperatures.

It won’t be a major warmup, but one that will be welcomed, nonetheless.

Thu – Sunny – High 65˚ / Thu Night – Iso’d Rain Showers – Low 46˚

Southerly winds will hang around and allow our warming trend to continue through Thursday.  Cloud cover will slowly increases through the afternoon, ahead of our next weather maker.

On Thursday night, isolated rain showers will enter the picture, as this disturbance approaches from the southwest.

Friday looks to be damp with our region littered with light rain showers.  The thickness model below is valid for 1pm Friday, and depicts a saturated airmass tracking northeast into the area:

GFS Thickness Model Valid 1pm Friday

The good news is that our weather conditions should improve drastically for Easter weekend.  The latest trends continue to favor the idea of partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid – upper 60s for both Saturday & Sunday.
