Today 4/12 – Mostly Sunny & WARM – High 81˚ / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 59˚

9am 65˚ – 12pm 76˚ – 3pm 81˚ – 6pm 80˚ – 9pm 68˚

Gorgeous… that’s about all there is to say about today. Get outside and enjoy! Other than a few passing clouds, skies will be sunny today. It will be warm as well thanks to the sunny skies and breezy southerly winds at 15-30 mph. That should have us soaring right into low 80s.

Warm, sunny, and windy today… a system currently in the planes will push east into our area by Sunday N & Monday. Surface analysis valid 7pm Sat courtesy of the WPC.

Tonight, a few clouds will move through but otherwise the weather conditions will be fairly quite with mild overnight temperatures only dropping to around 60.

Sun – Partly Sunny & Breezy – High 82˚ / Sun Night – Iso’d Rain Showers & Storms– Low 63˚

The weather on Sunday begins to get a little more interesting as our next storm system approaches from the west (note surface analysis above). With that said, nearly all of your Sunday should be dry with skies becoming a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds will increase as we move into the late afternoon/evening hours.

Temperatures will be warm yet again as most of us should top out in the low 80s. Thus it will likely be the warmest day of the year so far. It will again be breezy though with southerly winds from 15-30 mph with gust over 35 mph possible. Hold onto your hats!

Overnight, clouds will thicken and a few isolated showers and thunderstorms will move into the area, primarily after midnight. For some of us, especially east of I-65, this rain may hold off until Monday morning.

Mon – Scat’d Showers & Storms – High 68˚ / Mon Night – Scat’d Showers & Storms – Low 37˚

NOOOO! Yes, unfortunately it will be another rainy Monday. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms should be prevalent across the area on Monday. In fact, rainfall could be heavy at times and by Tuesday morning some of us could see an 1″+.

Certainly, thunder is possible on Monday but severe storms do not seem likely at this time. With that said, some gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall could accompany any thunderstorms. Meanwhile, the clouds and rain will hold down our temperatures, allowing for a high only in the upper 60s.

Rain showers should wrap up overnight Monday after the cold front pushes through. The cold front certainly won’t go unnoticed either. Temperatures will plummet into the 30s by Tuesday morning… yes the 30s!

Wait… it gets better (NOT). Highs Tuesday may not get out of the 50s and by Wednesday morning lows may crash into the low to mid 30s. Moral of the story is, if you’re thinking about planting your garden today, just hold off planting fever a little longer.

That’s all for today. Get out and enjoy a fantastic Saturday! Of course you can always get the latest via @WxOrNotBG and @WarrenCountyWx on twitter. Thanks for reading.
