Light snow showers have pestered south central Kentucky this afternoon & evening, resulting in very hazardous travel. Temp values continue to plummet below freezing, which will only cause road conditions to deteriorate even more. Main roads & side roads are very slick, causing numerous car accidents:

The National Weather Service has issued a Traveler’s Advisory through midnight for the entire region. On and off snow showers will continue through this time, producing minor accumulations of a dusting – 1/2″. Travel is expected to deteriorate as we progress into the night. If you can avoid traveling, please do so.
