Southwesterly winds will of 10-20mph will be present across the region today, coinciding with rays of sunshine to take highs into the lower – mid 40s. The strongest gusts could potentially top 25-30mph.
This setup will filter moisture across our proximity, which will cause an increase in cloud coverage as we get into this afternoon and tonight. A few flurries will be possible late, but no major impacts are expected. Remember…don’t hi-jack the milk truck.

Moisture will continue to dampen up our atmosphere, as temperatures quickly climb above freezing Friday. Scattered rain showers will evolve across the area as a result.
The most likely time to see these hit-&-miss, light showers organize will be during the afternoon and evening. Rain chances will increase as we get into Friday night, with cloud cover holding temps to ~40˚. Rain showers will expand in coverage as we get into the start of the weekend, with another bout of winter weather possible Saturday night – Sunday, as a cold front advances southeast across the Ohio Valley.
Current temperature profiles seem to be limiting any major impacts, as they only look to spend a brief period at or just below freezing. Accumulations will be minor at best.
