Good Sunday morning, everyone! Welcome back to the blog. I hope you’ve had an enjoyable weekend so far! It’s been a beautiful one for sure, and that trend looks to continue. A taste of spring is coming for the new week.

Dry Across the County Today

It’s hard to believe we were in the process of getting 6″ of rain this time last week! This week it’s a much different story. Dry conditions highlight the start of the new week.

High pressure dominates the Ohio River Valley region today that will keep sunny skies and dry weather around for today. Not only that, but high pressure dominates most of the country, leaving little room for rain just about anywhere!

Back at home, temperatures are on an upswing trend and will reach near 60° today. A beautiful day to get outside and enjoy the remaining weekend! As night comes around, clear skies will allow for a lot of radiational cooling and lows look to drop into the low 30’s! We’ll stay clear, though.

Above Average Temps Incoming

As we start the new work week, warming temperatures will be the big story. Monday’s and Tuesday’s highs will reach the mid 60’s, with the upper 60’s likely into midweek!

Dry and sunny conditions will also stick around into the midweek timeframe giving us a nice taste of spring 13 days before spring actually starts! Be sure to get out and enjoy it! Rain chances return as we approach Thursday and next weekend.
