Below Average Fall Weather Continues

Welcome, friends! Glad you could stop by. Did you enjoy that extra hour of sleep? Just as our clocks fall back an hour, our temperatures look to fall back as well, as chilly, below average fall weather continues.

Chilly Start to New Week

Do you remember back to the beginning of October how hot it was? Only a month ago there were highs in the upper 90’s. We were very above average, but fast forward to now and we’re very below average! What a difference a month makes. We look to continue that stretch of below average conditions into our Sunday with highs in the low 50’s, about 10 degrees below normal.

We will stay dry and sunny today, however, which will make for a beautiful end to the weekend. As the sun goes down, we will cool even more into the mid 30’s.

Not Much Changes

We will start the work week off on a chilly note Monday morning, but thanks to a high pressure hanging out around our area, sunny conditions will help warm us up. Temperatures for Monday look to rise into the upper 50’s, but it’ll be a little breezy. Winds could blow anywhere from 10 to 15 mph, thanks to an approaching cold front.

Monday night will feature slightly warmer lows than what we’ve been seeing in the mid 40’s. That cold front I mentioned looks to move through on Tuesday, but it will be a dry one, so no rain. All it will do is keep us cool with highs in the mid 50’s under mostly sunny skies and calmer winds.

Next Rain Chance (and Still Below Average)

Our next rainmaker could show up later this week. After the first cold front moves through on Tuesday, another one follows in pursuit, but this one wont be dry. Right now rain is looking to move into the WABBLES area Thursday and continue through Friday morning. However, we’re still a few days out, so we could see some changes. We’ll keep watching it as we get closer to that timeframe.

Otherwise, we continue our stretch of crisp, below average temperatures as we move into the peak of the fall season. It’s sweater weather!
