Good morning, folks and happy Monday!! Once again, whose ready to tackle another week with me as we start the first full week of November? The forecast calls for a pleasant start to the week with calm and cool conditions.

Waking up and heading out the door, I would keep the jacket handy as temperatures will be in the upper 30s to start out the day. An area of high pressure across much of the eastern United States will keep conditions calm and help temperatures rebound back into the lower 60s. Throughout the day, a weak frontal boundary will move in from the west, this boundary will help crank up the winds across the WABBLES region.

Heading into Tuesday, we will start off with cloudy skies as the frontal boundary moves southeast across the area. By the afternoon hours, the boundary will move farther southeast with higher pressure moving in from the west. Higher pressure moving into the area will clear up the skies making for a beautiful Tuesday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will rise back up to around 60 degrees.

Waking up on Wednesday and heading out the door, again, have the jacket ready as temperatures will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s starting out the day. With winds out of the south at the surface, temperatures will rebound nicely into the middle 60s across the area with mostly clear skies.

The Climate Prediction Center’s 6-10 Day Temperature Outlook (November 09 to November 13) keeps a large portion of the US below normal for this time of year. The Ohio River Valley looks to be well below the normal when it comes to temperatures.
