Good Thursday morning, everyone! Hasn’t this weather been wonderful? Sure beats the rain we got earlier this week. We’ve gotten a little taste of fall, but summer will slowly start to make a comeback for our Labor Day weekend.
One More Fall-Like Day
If you liked yesterday’s weather, then you’re in luck. We’ll have similar conditions today. Expect another beautiful day with highs in the low 80’s, light winds, and dry dew points. The rain stays away as well, leaving clear, blue skies behind. Perfect weather for WKU’s first home football game tonight!
Lows tonight will drop to around 60 degrees, making for a cool end to the game.
Temperatures Slowly Increase This Weekend
An upper-level ridge that is building in the Rockies will start to spread our way this weekend. Because of this, temperatures will be on the rise. Friday highs will crawl into the mid-80’s, but dew points remain low, so it will be nothing unbearable. We can also expect another sunny day thanks to that high pressure.
Lows Friday will cool to the mid-60’s before warming up again Saturday. Not much changes as highs Saturday will get back to the mid-80’s. Rain stays away, however, making for a dry and beautiful holiday weekend.
Dry Weather Continues into Next Week
Much of the same conditions we will see this weekend will carry over into the new week. Temperatures will rise to the upper-80’s and possibly 90 in some locations. The sun will stick around too, as the dominant pattern right now will keep us dry for the foreseeable future. We will see a more summer-like day for our Labor Day, so make sure to enjoy it!
