Back to School, Back to Rain


Hey folks, rounds of showers with temperatures in the low 80’s are likely throughout today as we are back to school, back to rain.  The stationary front bringing today’s rain will move very slowly giving us more chances of rain through the rest of the week.

Morning Showers

Watch for wet roads if you are taking the kids to school this morning mainly in Butler and Logan Counties so far.  A couple rounds of showers  and even claps of thunder are possible today with highs in the low 80’s.

It has not rained for over a week at the Bowling Green weather station, so the rain today should be a welcome sight for most of our region, and it will keep the temperatures down.  In the heaviest storms today, some minor flooding is possible,

Stationary Front Keeps Rest of Week Wet

Due to a slow moving “cold”/stationary front, we will have another chance of showers tomorrow afternoon.  Highs will be in the mid 80’s with light winds.

Look for another chance of isolated afternoon showers on Friday with a high again in the mid 80’s as the front sticks around.

More Rain Chances this Weekend

Some more shower and thunderstorm activity is possible this weekend.  The more rain chances increase, the more chances of low temperature increases for our weekend, but as of now, this weekend does not look like a total wash out.
