One Last Beautiful Day Before Rain

Good Sunday morning to everyone! I hope that everyone is looking forward to a relaxing day. We have one last beautiful day before rain returns to the region to start the workweek.

Ahhhhhmazing Weather Continues

That may be a little misleading, only because I am expecting cloud cover to roll into the region by mid morning.

However, if you like the temperatures that we have had over the past couple of days, you’ll like today quite a bit! Highs have been in the mid 80s over the past couple days, but with low dewpoints. This has created quite the nice combination.

Today, we’re only looking at highs in the mid 80s (86ºF-87ºF) again! We’ll see sunshine this morning, but expect cloud cover to increase throughout the day as a decaying thunderstorm complex moves to our southwest.

Overall? Another nice day in a string of several nice days.

Gloomier to Start the Week

Our next weather maker, which is currently in the upper Rockies, will begin to take shape and make its way towards the lower Ohio Valley during the day on Monday.

Monday will likely start out partly sunny, but clouds will quickly increase across the region during the day. As upper level flow becomes more favorable, rain chances will increase during the afternoon.

Because of the clouds, don’t expect it to get too hot; probably in the mid 80s again (86ºF-87ºF). Rain is expected to hold off until the afternoon/evening, so plan accordingly!

Rain is expected to move in by Monday night, and provide a nice soaking through Tuesday. Cloud cover looks present for much of Tuesday, as well.

By Tuesday afternoon, highs will have jumped into the lower 80s, and isolated showers/storms should be meandering through the region.

Temperatures will be nice, but the rain will really take away from Tuesday being a better day weather wise. Wednesday should be sunnier, as we will be behind the cold front and the forcing will be to our east.

Well, that is all I have folks! Have an awesome Sunday, and be sure to follow us @wxornotBG on Twitter and Facebook for the latest.
