After Early Friday Showers, A Nice Weekend Awaits

After quite a pleasant week, we’ll see just a small hiccup in the form in of a cold front that will impact us mainly this morning. This might spark a few showers but after early Friday showers, a nice weekend awaits.

A Cold Frontal Friday

A weak cold front will greet us as the week starts to come to a close. Not much moisture with it, but it will try to spark off a few showers and thunderstorms as it scoots on by early this morning.

Clouds will steadily decrease throughout the day while even slightly lower humidity works its way into the area.

Mostly sunny skies will eventually break out above and we’ll see temperatures top out around 85º. We’ll keep mostly clear skies through the nighttime hours, allowing temperatures to cool to around 63º. Not bad for almost-August!

Mother Nature’s Saturday Serenade

In what will essentially be an encore performance of this afternoon, tomorrow afternoon is going to be even nicer, if such a thing is possible. This is mostly thanks to winds out of the northwest and even more sunshine.

Temperatures will once again top out around 85º under brilliant mostly sunny skies. A perfect afternoon for a walk in the park, a game of baseball or even just to sit on the porch with an ice cold beverage and enjoy a Saturday afternoon at home. Lows at night back into the lower 60s.

Same on Sunday but Change on the Way

Most of Sunday will be like a repeat of the last two days but alas, another rain chance begins to creep into the picture but late on Sunday night.

Yes, I said rain. Let me explain. (Giphy)

Sunday afternoon will be remarkably similar to Saturday afternoon, with the exception of a few more clouds. Humidity will remain low, however, temperatures will nudge upward tor around 86-87º, though. At night, more clouds will begin to filter in as the next system will make a run toward us.

The NAM wants to bring the showers in to the area in the afternoon. Not sure I buy it yet. (Pivotal Weather)

Lows Sunday night with the increase cloud cover will fall to around 65º. And this sets up a rather wet start to the work week as waves of wet weather look to roll through the region.
