Scattered Thunderstorms This Late-July Weekend

Good morning and happy Saturday. Hope y’all had a great week. Expect some scattered thunderstorms this Late-July weekend and the high temperatures ranging in the 80s.

Today

This morning, temperatures are currently in the  higher-60s to lower-70s. We’ll take this time to dry off from all the rain last night.

As the day heats up, thunderstorms may pop up and fizzle out. Nothing too major. The sky will have some cloud cover and temperatures will increase into the low-80s. For the most part, winds will keep calm, however, they may gust when thunderstorms roll on through the area.

A cold front will be coming through, creating some lift which may result in thunderstorms.

Tonight, temperatures will sit around the 70° mark. Thunderstorm chances will also continue into the night and a good amount of rainfall will result from the overnight thunderstorms.

Sunday

An even higher chance of thunderstorms is predicted for tomorrow’s forecast. Temperatures will increase and stay around 80°. Dew points will start in the high-60s and venture up into the high-70s, which could mean some muggy air. However, the thunderstorms may relieve us from the humid conditions.

Tomorrow night’s forecast will be very similar to tonight’s; low temperatures in the high-60s and continued shower and thunderstorm chances during the night. There will be clouds in the sky and winds will be relatively calm between storms.

Scattered Thunderstorms This Late-July Weekend

Overall, a stormy weekend with high temperatures in the 80s and a high gust of wind here and there. Keep aware of the weather, especially when a storm is approaching. That is all I have for today’s forecast.
