The Details

We’re continuing to be influenced by strong upper level ridging and surface high pressure for the forecast period. So, hot, humid, and mainly dry weather are in store for us through the weekend and, possibly, into next week.

Loop of the short range forecasts

WPC Surface Analysis, valid today 7am – Saturday 7am

Highs for the next several days are going to be in the upper 80’s across the area, near 90 degrees. Today, there is a chance for isolated showers/t-storms, but these will be driven mainly by daytime heating. Otherwise, it’s going to be sunny to mostly sunny for the next several days!

Lows will bottom out around the mid-60’s with mostly clear skies during the overnight hours. There also may be some patchy fog overnight and into the early morning hours, but it doesn’t look to be a major issue the rest of the week.

Well, that’s it! I know this post was short, but there isn’t much to talk about other than it being hot, humid, and mainly dry. Unfortunately, this summer-like pattern is sticking around much longer than I’d like – give me fall and cold weather!

Forecast Summary

Today: Mostly sunny with isolated thunderstorms; high of 89°.  Overnight, expect mostly clear skies with a low of 66°. Areas of patchy fog tonight through tomorrow morning

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with a high of 88°. Overnight, expect more mostly clear skies with a low of 65°.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high of 88°. Overnight, expect more mostly clear skies with a low of 64°.
