Today – Partly Sunny and Mild – High 77° / Tonight – Scattered Showers Overnight – Low 60°
A fairly boring but extremely nice and pleasant forecast is in store for South Central Kentucky over the next couple of days! A broad area of high pressure sliding southeast from the northwest and that is what is helping to keep us nice and quiet over these next few days.
This afternoon we will see clouds increase ahead of an embedded shortwave that will bring us the chance for a few scattered showers this evening after sunset. Rain totals look to accumulate to less than an inch and the shower activity should be exiting the region by tomorrow morning’s commute.
Tuesday – Partly Sunny and Beautiful – High 78° / Overnight – Mostly Clear – Low 56°
As we head into Tuesday, temperatures will remain mild for a downright perfect late-June day. Winds flowing from the northwest aloft is helping to keep us WELL below average for this time of year, not to mention we will see low humidity values keeping us nice and comfortable. To put it simply – Tuesday looks fantastic!
Wednesday – Mostly Sunny – High 83° / Overnight – Partly Cloudy – Low 66°
By Wednesday, things look to remain nice and pleasant. By then, high pressure will be over the Ohio Valley and a bit of ridging will be taking place. This will help us begin to warm back up into the low 80s and humidity values will begin to creep back up as well as winds shift to from the south. Otherwise, yet another quiet and pleasant day across South Central Kentucky!
