Forecast Discussion

The cold front is currently moving across the state of Kentucky. This will bring severe storms to Bowling Green within the next couple of hours. After the cold front passes through the region, temperatures will begin to drop and a few breaks in the clouds will be possible. As high pressure settles into the area this evening, expect partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies to develop.

Northwest flow aloft will be in place for the rest of the forecast period. This will allow for conditions to remain a bit more seasonal. For Thursday, you can expect mostly sunny skies across the region with a high in the low 50s. Overnight, the low temperature may drop into the low 30s. Goodbye spring, hello winter!

Friday looks like a very pleasant day, however it will be a pretty chilly day. Despite mostly sunny skies once again, expect temperatures to top out into the mid 40s. At least we won’t have any rain or snow to deal with, right? Lows will drop back into the low 30s to upper 20s.
