We’ll have some clouds continue to roll through this morning as high pressure begins building in from the west, giving us mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. Highs for today and the rest of the forecast period are going to stay right around the 50 degree mark, with temperatures struggling to hit that mark today.

Friday looks to be almost the same as today, but temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer. Cloud cover will begin to increase Friday night into Saturday as we prepare for our next system to move through from the southwest.

A mid-level shortwave trough looks to move into the region Saturday night into Sunday, drawing in moisture from the Gulf and warmer air. This will result in quite a rainy Sunday for us.
