Good morning, Bowling Green! I quite enjoyed the weather yesterday. It was some good ol’ napping weather if you ask me! According to the NWS Climate Report, we had a high of 63 degrees yesterday. Some even better news…some areas even saw some of the wet stuff we call rain!

Discussion

A surface cold front pushed through the region yesterday and overnight. With a north breeze and cloudy skies today, temperatures will remain in the upper 50’s with some areas hitting right around 6o degrees.

Tonight, the clouds will clear out with calm winds, allowing temperatures to fall into the low/mid 30’s which could allow frost to form. So, a Frost Advisory has been issued for tomorrow morning. Make sure to cover any sensitive plants.

Thursday is going to be gorgeous with high temperatures in the low 60’s under sunny skies, as high pressure settles into the area. For Thursday night, lows will be in the low 40’s under clear skies.

It looks like a weak cold front will pass through the region Friday morning, bringing with it some clouds but no precipitation. Once this front passes through, high pressure will settle in behind the front.

Extended Outlook

This high pressure looks to settle in over the weekend, bringing us some chilly temperatures. Looking further into next week, another cold front looks to come through early in the work-week. This one does, however, look like we could see some precipitation from it.
