Real-time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

Yesterday’s Weather

Unfortunately for us, yesterday was the last day for the next week or so that we’ll see temperatures in the 60’s for most of the day. According to the NWS Climate Report, Bowling Green had a high of 72 degrees yesterday. I already miss Fall weather!

Discussion

With this upper-level low finally moving out of the area today, it will be cloudy for a majority of the day. Some of us may see some sprinkles now and then, but they would be very light. This afternoon, we could see a small break in the cloud cover which would be nice, seeing as how the last several days have been cloudy and gross.

NAM 500 mb Heights and Winds, Valid Today – cutoff low moving out

Starting Monday through most of the work week, we’ll see warmer and drier conditions across the region, due to an upper ridge settling over us. Our temperatures for both Monday and Tuesday will increase into the upper 70’s and low 80’s. Low temperatures will also increase into the upper 50’s and low 60’s, starting tomorrow.

Extended Outlook

For the rest of the week, temperatures will continue to climb into the mid 80’s under sunny skies. However, I have some good news! It looks as though a trough will make its way into the region by the end of the week, which could definitely lower our temperatures!
