Good morning, Bowling Green! With the kiddos out of school, I say it’s about time we go outside and start to enjoy this summer weather! Unfortunately, we might not be able to escape the rain the next few days.

A weak cold front began passing through the region last night and will continue to move through today, as it stalled out over our area. Due to the surface trough stalling out, we can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and storms are also expected with this frontal passage off and on for most of the day.

With this cloud cover, though, temperatures won’t be as hot as they have been recently, with highs for today in the low 80’s. For the evening, lows will be in the mid 60’s under mostly cloudy and rainy skies.

Friday looks to be a little bit better than Thursday due to the cold front passing to our south. Lucky for us, the rain chances look to be even more scattered than yesterday. I might even be able to get in my afternoon walk!

Temperatures for Friday will be very similar to Thursday’s temperatures with highs in the mid 80’s under mostly cloudy/rainy skies. Again lows will be in the mid to upper 60’s.
Saturday – Chance T-Storms – High 80˚ / Saturday Night – Chance T-Storms – Low 65˚
We’ve made it to the weekend! Yay! Unfortunately, the rain has also made it into our weekend. Saturday’s forecast is basically the same as the previous days; scattered showers and thunderstorms for most of the day. The rain chances are up a bit from Friday’s rain chances, but not much. Temperatures, however, will be a few degrees lower with highs right around the 80 degree mark and lows in the mid 60’s.
