Yesterday was….well, not what I expected.

It ended up being cloudy for the majority of the day, which I didn’t expect. Moving on from that, though, today looks to be a bit rainier. A shortwave trough looks to be the main producer of our weather today as it rolls southeastward towards us.

This will bring a line of showers and thundershowers into the region by mid to late morning, creating for a nastier day. Behind it, there is a good shot that we see some isolated showers behind the main band itself.

Because the atmosphere is fairly cold, hail is possible with the stronger showers. Look for highs today to end up in the lower 60s. Overnight, the shortwave will move to our southeast, but we will still likely see partly to mostly cloudy skies, with isolated showers possible. Lows in the mid 40s.

Tomorrow: Partly to mostly cloudy, with highs around 60°F. Thur. night: Clouds clearing, with lows around 45°F.

Tomorrow looks to be more of the same. Fairly gloomy, not so great. Eh.

We’ll likely see some sunshine intermittently throughout the day, but overall, it doesn’t look to be a great day. Under the influence of the shortwave from today, it looks to close off to our east. This should keep at least partly to mostly cloudy skies across the region, with cooler temps as well. Look for highs to end up in the lower 60s.

Overnight, look for clouds to begin clearing out with lows falling into the mid 40s.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with highs around 72°F. Friday night: Mostly clear, with lows in and around 54ºF.

Ahh, finally. A day that actually looks good in the model guidance.

I am really excited about it, actually. We’ll be on the western periphery of the closed shortwave to our east, and this will help to prevent cloud cover and rainfall.

Look for highs to reach the lower 70s. Overnight, skies should remain clear, with lows remaining elevated as ridging moves into the region. Lows in the mid 50s.
