Cooler Bowling Green Weather On The Way

Real-time BG Radar:

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high of 66°F. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with lows around 47°F.

Man, the past few days have been really gloomy and rainy. Sunday was nice, but with two of the past three days seeing rain, we need a nicer day.

Today is that day. Not much will be going on as a cold front swung through the region yesterday, and this will cool us off in this cooler, drier air mass. Look for highs today to end up in the mid 60s under partly cloudy skies.

Overnight, we should see partly cloudy skies, with lows in the upper 40s.

Tomorrow: Rain showers. Highs around 61°F. Wed. night: Clouds clearing out, with lows 44°F.

Well, after we are given a nice day, we have to inevitably have a worse one weather wise, right?

I don’t think tomorrow will be a wash out by any means, but with a shortwave trough quickly propagating into the region by tomorrow morning, we’ll likely see a line of rain or thunder showers move into the region.

Behind this, there is still a good chance we see some pop up shower activity. There is some indication from the models that the atmosphere may develop weaker instability, as the mid levels will be very cold. This could lead to small hail in any of the stronger showers that move through. Overall, though, not a wash out, and there will likely be some sunshine here and there. Look for temps to rise into the lower 60s.

I guess two out of three days being nice is awesome, right? Yes, yes it is.

Thursday will be cool, but very nice. We will be firmly entrenched in a deep trough that move to our east, and this should allow for us to avoid any precipitation on Thursday. Look for highs to barely reach 60!
