Good morning, Bowling Green! A couple of weeks ago, I was ready for the colder weather to stick around. Now, I think it’s safe to say that my toes and hands would appreciate a little less chill in the air!

A strong, southwesterly flow and upper-level ridging will bring the temperatures up a bit for today. Highs will be in the low to mid 50’s under sunny skies. Clouds will likely increase in the afternoon hours, but will clear slightly during the evening hours. Lows for tonight will be in the low 40’s as we prepare for rain tomorrow. There could be some rain showers late Thursday night and into the overnight hours, but most of the rain will occur during the day on Friday.

Friday – Showers – High 50˚ / Friday Night – Showers; Chance rain/snow – Low 33˚

A surface cold front is going to push through the region Friday night, bringing with it rain showers for most of the day Friday. As the colder air works its way into the region Friday night, there could be some snow showers possible during the overnight hours, however; there looks to be very little accumulation possible with these snow showers.

As far as temperatures go, highs will be in the low 50’s and will quickly drop in the evening hours, with lows in the low 30’s.

Saturday – Chance Snow Showers – High 35˚ / Saturday Night – Scattered Flurries – Low 25˚

Saturday is gonna be very COLD, so please bundle up if you go anywhere! We will be in a strong, northwesterly flow for Saturday which will bring in these much cooler temperatures. Highs for Saturday will be in the mid to upper 30’s. There will be plenty of low-level moisture, so scattered snow showers or flurries could be possible.

Lows for Saturday night will be in the mid 20’s (a.k.a. very cold) with diminishing snow showers. Temperatures for the rest of your weekend look to only get colder as another front pushes through the region Saturday night into Sunday.
