The Weather Is Looking Up

Today: Mostly cloudy, with rainfall exiting. An early high of 60ºF. Tonight: Gradual clearing, with lows falling to around 44ºF.

Today is gonna be really odd weatherwise. Not necessarily bad, like the pat few days, but just weird.

A cold front will move through during the early morning hours today, driving out the remaining area of heavy rainfall by the latter part of the morning. Though it will be while most of us are asleep, we will see a high for the day around 60ºF before the front crashes through, with temps falling throughout the day.

Clouds will prevail most of the day, though, but we’ll likely end up seeing some of the clouds clearing out by the end of the day right before sunset. Overnight, look for clouds to clear, and lows fall into the mid 40s.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny, with highs around 47ºF. Wed. night: Mostly clear, with lows falling to around 32ºF.

You know what? I feel like we haven’t seen the sun in several years. It was cloudy for Turkey last week, cloudy for Black Friday and cloudy for Cyber Monday.

The Christmas season has really kicked into gear under clouds. But you know what? Forget that. Tomorrow is a new day. Drier air mass, cooler temps and the sun! Under a high pressure, look for temps around the region to only get up into the mid 40s.

Overnight, conditions look similar. Lows should be pretty cold, falling into the low 30s under clear skies.

Thursday: Not much warmer. Sunny, with highs around 45ºF. Overnight: Partly cloudy, with lows around 31ºF.

Thursday looks actually really chilly. Though it will be sunny, that will be very deceiving, as a cool high pressure system will continue dominating our weather. Look for highs to reach the mid 40s. If you have outdoor plans, I definitely recommend a jacket!

Overnight, a weak trough will be moving through the upper Midwest, and will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Lows should fall into the low 30s.
