Hey Bowling Green! Happy Sunday to y’all! It looks to be another beautiful day here in Kentucky as surface high pressure will pretty much take over today’s weather, leaving us nice and sunny! Warm air advection from the Gulf will keep temperatures warmer than yesterday with highs in the mid-60’s. Overall, I’d say it’s gonna be a beautiful Sunday!

Monday – Chance Showers; Mostly Cloudy – High 59˚ / Monday Night – Showers – Low 52˚
As high pressure moves eastward into the Carolinas, a low pressure system and accompanying cold front will also be moving eastward, making its way into our region Wednesday. Rain chances return Monday as warm, moist air from the Gulf continues to be advected into our region.

As far as temperatures go, highs will be right around 60 with a chance for showers. For the evening, lows will be in the low 50’s with an increasing chance for rain showers.

Tuesday – Chance Showers; Mostly Cloudy – High 69˚ / Tuesday Night – Showers – Low 58˚
Temperatures will be much warmer than previous days with highs around 70 as southerly winds continue to bring in that warm, moist air. Rain chances look to pick up Tuesday evening and continue to increase as we head into Wednesday. Lows for Tuesday will be in the upper 50’s.

Southerly winds will continue to bring moisture into the region with rain moving in ahead of the cold front Wednesday morning. The rain will stick around most of the day Wednesday before tapering off and moving out in the evening. Stay tuned for more updates!
