Today 8/31 – Mostly Sunny – High 87° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 67°
…Some fog will be possible this morning…
An upper level low has been meandering across the southeastern United States for the past several days, and will continue to due so during the next several days as well. The low is embedded within a large ridge across the region. Thus, you could expect conditions to remain fairly dry across the region with the exception of pop-up showers and storms.
I feel like the likelihood of those are fairly low today. Mostly sunny skies should be in store for our Monday, with a high around 87°. Partly cloudy skies will be possible overnight with a low around 67°.
Tuesday 9/1 – Partly Cloudy – High 90° / Tue Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 70°
Different day, same story for the forecast on Tuesday. That ridge will build in a little bit more, helping to reinforce those higher temperatures. Partly cloudy skies should be in store for Thursday with a high around 90°. Again, a very isolated shower rotating about the upper level low is possible, but not likely.
Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight with a low around 70°.
Wednesday 9/2 – Partly Cloudy; Isolated Shower – High 91° / Wed Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 70°
The upper level low will begin to weaken and broaden on Wednesday a bit. However, partly cloudy skies will be possible, as well as an isolated shower or two. I’m a bit more confidence in rain chances on Wednesday due to some higher resolution models breaking out precipitation, however, this won’t be widespread. Highs will be around 91°.
Wednesday night will bring partly cloudy skies with a low once again around 70°.
