Fairly Boring Weather Settles Here

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high of 64ºFTonight: Some clouds increasing with isolated showers. Lows around 49ºF.

After a weekend of super active weather (for once), it is looking like we’ll see some fairly quiet weather over the next few days. A lazy low pressure system will stretch into Texas during the day today, and this will keep us in a bit of a trough, which explains our cooler temps.

Being under the influence of a high pressure system doesn’t hurt, either. This will keep us clear and should allow temps to rise into the mid 60s this afternoon! That’ll be awesome.

Going into the overnight hours, the couch potato of a trough will begin to move eastward, and precip will develop out ahead of the low itself. This will overspread the south and some isolated showers could make a run for us as temps stay in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Wednesday: Bland, like wheaties. Mostly cloudy, with isolated showers possible. High of 63ºF. Wed. Night: Cloudy. Lows around 50ºF.

Man, Wheaties sure is a quality cereal. Don’t get me wrong. However, its also really boring. You’re eating….wheat for breakfast. Come on, now. Anyways, the weather Wednesday will be exactly the same. Its quality and bad at the same time. Its like a bad comedy movie that you can’t stop watching.

Clouds will remain prevalent across the region as the couch potato low approaches and creates precip to our south. This will restrict highs to the low and mid 60s.

Overnight, look for the exact same thing, only in darkness. Like Wheaties in the dark! Clouds will hang tough, yada. You get the drill. Lows will end up around 50ºF.

Thursday: Frosted Flakes day. Interesting, with partly to mostly cloud skies and isolated storms. High of 62ºF. Thur. night: Cloudy, with showers. Low of 43ºF.

I guess you could call this day more than good…but I am not sure its great. It’ll be a different weather set up, with a  potent wave of low pressure moving south out of the Great Lakes. This will act to focus shower and storms activity into Thursday night in the area.

Look for highs to top out around 62ºF. Overnight, clouds and rain will hang tough, with lows in the lower 40s.
