March Declared As Severe Weather Awareness Month

Recently, Gov. Beshear declared the month of March as Severe Weather Awareness Month for the state of Kentucky. This includes a statewide tornado drill that will occur next Tuesday, March 10th (date was moved due to inclement weather being forecasted).

This is an important time to prepare for any and all situations that may strike the region during the next couple months. Severe weather season typically begins to take a spike upwards and gets a bit more active across the region. And with today being the 3 year anniversary of the March 2nd tornado outbreak, there is never a better time to get prepared.
