NWS Collaborates with Vikings Players

The Minnesota Vikings teamed up with The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this week to spread winter weather awareness. Two players agreed to record Winter Weather Public Service Announcements for the public.

Vikings’ Center John Sullivan recorded a video discussing winter weather safety:

Vikings’ Wide Receiver Adam Thielen recorded a video discussing cold weather safety.

It is great to see NFL players working with the NWS to help spread winter weather awareness. Vikings players and fans must be ready for the cold weather this season as they are playing all of their home games at the University of Minnesota’s outdoor football field.
